After graduation from Lovett he went to Mr. Jefferson’s University of Virginia where he retired from football after his third concussion. He consoled himself at the P.K. Lodge, “doors off the hinges parties” He earned degrees from Dean Tate’s University of Georgia, Western and Trinity. As a professor and football coach at Westminster T.K. contemplated a book based on the conflicted and violent events he witnessed in the 1950’s. But life’s rollercoaster-ride took him from sleeping in a convertible VW to owning a business. T.K. mused, “My red-clay heart is a blend pride and angst, Sunday school and scotch.
